The company has roots that go far back in time due our link to the trade union Kommunal. Today Kommunal owns 99% of Lyran Konferens and the company is included in Kommunal's strategic ownership of conference facilities throughout Sweden.

The trademark Lyran Konferens is used today in order to gather together and promote a number of facilities that have a high level of service.
